I enjoyed painting Broken Pieces so much I decided to start on a "sister" painting once I had finished. This painting definitely directed me as it unfolded, and I had no idea that she had so much to say! Full of life and warmth and words! Her thoughts flow out of her and she captures them all on paper. She celebrates the individual, the passionate, the ordinary, the hurting, and the natural. She composes her words to form thoughts that I have, but have no way of ever communicating. She uses imagery to conjure beautiful pictures and draw emotion from the reader, touching their soul. Yellow is her favorite color and it shines from her.
