Niahm, pronounced Neev originates from Ireland. A long time ago there was a tale of a beautiful red haired woman riding along the crest of a wave approaching the land Connemara. She was travelling from a far off land called Tir Na nog, or land of the young where she had received all the gifts that the land was famous for, everlasting beauty, health and a kind spirit.

When she heard of the land of Connemara and how they hunted for food she felt complelled to vist and save the beautiful wildlife and teach the people how to live off the plants rather than the animals.

Once she was there the people of Connemara fell in love with her kind spirit and did indeed listen to her, caring for the animals and learning about the plants. She stayed for some months before leaving but the people of Connemara remembered her for centuries.
